The Galleries

Located in the lovely village of Old Hunstanton, minutes from the North West Norfolk coastline, a one-room 1860s school is now a welcoming gallery space for contemporary fine art and ceramics. Owner Vivien Young established her gallery in 2003 (originally as the Neptune Gallery) and holds regular solo and mixed exhibitions of works by professional artists from throughout East Anglia and the UK.

From October 2008 we are delighted to announce the opening of our additional gallery space at Sedgeford Hall, a delightful Queen Anne house located on a large country estate in nearby Sedgeford. This lovely venue will also have a permanent but changing collection of paintings as well as beautiful pieces by Richard Chapman, a renowned wood-turner, and a number of sculptural pieces.

The first exhibition to be held at this new venue will be our Autumn Show and will run from Saturday 18th October until Saturday 8th November - to find out more please click on current exhibition.

The gallery is particularly honoured to represent James Dunbar, a truly outstanding painter, who lives and works in North West Norfolk. His amazing series of “treescapes” and architectural paintings were shown to great success in August 2006 and his next major show Inscape will be held in Spring 2009 at the Old School, Old Hunstanton.
